Antique map of Batavia by Van Schley titled ‘Batavia’. Map of the city of Batavia (Jakarta) in Indonesia. It also shows the changes of the city between 1731 and 1750. With Dutch and French legend stating ‘Diest Poort, Poort Utrecht, ‘t Vierkant’.

Jakob van der Schley (1715-1779) was a Dutch draughtsman and engraver, who studied under Bernard Picart.
